The digital environment has created new challenges, particularly
for illustrators. In this unit learners will experiment with sourced
or imposed imagery and change or add meaning to what might
appear random choices. Sources of imagery are numerous. The
management, both creative and practical, of a number of images
in a variety of formats is challenging. Learners require considerable
exposure to this environment, so that the technology is understood,
opportunities are identified and the creative possibilities emerge.
