黃玉郎，原名黃振隆，1950 年生於廣東省江門市，6 歲到香港定居。從 1 0 歲起已於中國學生周報、青年樂園、快報等投稿獲得刊登。自14 歲開始，黃先生已投身漫畫業並立志以創作漫畫為終身志向，17歲開始自資成立漫畫出版社，一手包辦繪畫、發行的工作。

小流氓在70年代初期，更雄霸香港漫畫市場，深入民心，其後改名為龍虎門，風行2 0 多年，締造了香港長篇連載漫畫的歷史紀錄。近年來作品有天子傳奇系列、義勇門、龍虎 5 世系列、 001 、大劍師、霹靂、霹靂狂龍、神兵玄奇系列等作品，及改編金庸先生的作品天龍八部、神鵰俠侶及最新作品射鵰英雄傳、鹿鼎記，改編黃易先生之大唐雙龍傳及 2006 年新作邊荒傳說，帶領香港漫畫界改編武俠小說之潮流。

玉皇朝集團現有員工200人，目前出版之本地漫畫周刊有射鵰英雄傳、電影龍虎門、四大名捕等。版權拓展至東南亞地區、意大利、法國、美國、秘魯、阿拉伯等地，翻譯為各國文字出版。集團首項動畫項目為與中央電視台合拍的《神兵小將》52 集動畫電視劇集，將於全國播放。另一皇牌漫畫《神兵玄奇》亦製作成動畫電影，帶領香港原創漫畫邁向國際動畫電影市場。

Wong Yuk Long, original name is Wong Chun Loong (Tony Wong). He was born in Jiangmen City of Guangdong Province and immigrated to Hong Kong when he was . And at the age of 0, his comic strips of two, four or six frames already appeared in such publications as Chinese Students’ Weekly, Youth’s Garden, and Express. When he was 14, he determined to devote himself to the career of comic creation. At 17, he established his own comic books publishing company with his own funds, and he himself was in charge of both creating and publishing.

The masterpiece in 70’s was “Little Rouges” which permeated through the people. Afterward it was renamed as “ Dragon and Tiger Heroes “ and had been the most popular comics in Hong Kong for 0 years that made it the lengthiest comics in Hong Kong history. Other well-known pieces include “ Legend of Emperor” Series, “Clique of Brave and Justice”, “Super Dragon &Tiger Heroes” Series, “The King Sword”, “ The Thunder”, “Thunder II”, and “Magical Weapon” Series etc. In 2006, the animated cartoon “Shen Bing Kids” which adapted from comics “Magic Weapon” will be launched in CCTV soon.

The Group has over 200 staff currently producing 8 comics including “ Dragon and Tiger Heroes” new version, “Dragon and Tiger Heroes” movie version, “The Four Famous Detectives”, etc. The company exerts to develop overseas markets, with its books translated and published in the South East Asia, Italy, France, the USA, Peru, etc.“Shen Bing Kids” is an animated 52 episodes TV series as the first co-production project collaborated between CCTV and Jade Dynasty Group Limited. Another Master Piece “Magic Weapon” will be animated into a cartoon movie, leading Hong Kong original creative movie to stride forward to international market.
